Editor of First News, Segun Olatunji has been released.
NPO Reports gathered that Olatunji, who was reportedly picked up from his residence in the Abule Egba area of Lagos two weeks ago was released Thursday morning.
Details of his release were still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
Recall that the Nigerian Union of Journalists had cried out to the military authorities, whose men were said to have stormed his residence and taken him away without any traces of where he was being taken to.
The Nigerian National Committee of the International Press Institute (IPI Nigeria) have called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to activate the powers of his office as Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces to direct the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, to produce Segun.
