Days after crying out for help, Lagos popular fabric merchant Bisi Bamidele, popularly called Bisbam, has confirmed the arrest of her driver, Ibrahim who made away with her huge sums of money.
Mrs Bamidele had gone on social media to expose how the driver duplicated her house keys and went back to the house to enter into her apartments and took away huge sums of money including those in foreign currencies.
She had narrated how policemen in Lagos had asked that the relations of the driver who were picked up needed to be released since Ibrahim had disappeared without any traces.
Bisbam’s videos of how Ibrahim broke into the house had gone viral with his face shown.
On Friday, the fabric merchant happily announced the arrest of Ibrahim.,
She however disclosed that those agencies of government that ought to have done their jobs were not quick enough until Ibrahim was apprehended by those who took it upon themselves to fish him out.
According to her, the person who coordinated the arrest of the driver had contacted her through her DM.
She however said that by the time he was caught, he had expended a huge part of the money on sport betting called Aviator Game.
Bisbam expressed her appreciation to the many Nigerians who shared her message aggressively leading to the arrest of the driver.
She said she hoped that now that the driver has been arrested, the police would do their job if only to ensure that the balance of the money stolen by him is returned.
Ibrahim was given away by the clips shown in the closed circuit cameras installed in the house which captured every movement of the driver from the moment he arrived at his boss’ apartment till he exited with his loot.
