The Ilorin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has detained 48 Kwara State University (KWASU) students and two others for internet fraud offenses.
They were apprehended on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at their numerous hideouts following days of monitoring and valuable intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet-related crimes.
The accused were found in possession of nine exotic cars, twenty-four (24) laptop computers, and several phone brands.
Following the end of the investigations, the suspects will be arraigned in court.
