One of the prominent governorship aspirants of the All Progressive Congress in Ondo state, Mr. Wale Akinterinwa has been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Akinterinwa was one of those who contested the Governorship primary election held in the state on Saturday.
He was Commissioner for Finance under the administration of late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
It was gathered that Akinterinwa had been invited for questioning over some allegations made against him in some petition in possession of the commission.
It was however learnt that he did not honour the invitation claiming to be busy into he showed up on Thursday.
The final result of the governorship primaries which he was an aspirant was just declared on Monday.
