The 2026 Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Ekiti governorship candidate, Wole Oluyede, has raised alarm over alleged issuance of agent tags to individuals not nominated by him ahead of the Saturday election.
Oluyede reportedly stormed the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) headquarters in Ado-Ekiti on Friday evening to file a complaint over the development.
The PDP candidate had arrived at the INEC headquarters accompanied by party officials and supporters to complain over issuance of agents’ tags to the unrecognised individuals.
According to reports, he was received by Resident Electoral Commissioner in Ekiti State, Bunmi Omoseyindemi, during a meeting held in the REC’s office, where he presented his grievances and sought the commission’s intervention ahead of the election.
Meanwhile, the PDP candidate was alleged to be ejected out of the office shortly after his meeting with the REC.
Video shared on X showed him exiting the building while turning down journalists request for interview as he exited the premises.
