As the #EndBadGovernance Protest extends to Day Six, protesters have again caused stir as they set the house of a lawmaker ablaze in Jigawa state.
The protest, which has been characterized with destruction of both private and public property, witnessed another havoc with Hon. Nazifi Sani falling victim this time.
As seen in a viral video shared on X, the lawmaker representing Gumel/ Maigatari/ Sule- Tankarkar/ Gargawa Federal Constituency had his burnt by the protesters in Jigawa.
This increases the number of havoc recorded across the northern part of the nation since the inception of the #EndBadGovernance protest.
Recall that some Northern state government had declared a state of emergency on account of the violence that erupted during the protest.
Kaduna and Zaria, yesterday, declared curfew as protesters launched attacks on public infrastructures while also challenging security operatives.
Similarly, Plateau state government declared curfew which was not observed by protesters in Jos.
