Former Nigerian Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, has paid a heartfelt tribute to her late husband, Niyi Adeosun, as she celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary.
Adeosun, in a post on her Facebook handle on Sunday, expressed gratitude to God for the marital union with her late husband whom she had three children with.
She described their relationship as 33 years of love and laughter while admitting still in confused with his demise.
‘Today August 23rd, I am celebrating our 33rd year wedding anniversary though you are not here. I choose to bless God for the privilege of being your wife and mother of 3 incredible young people.
’33 years of love and laughter that I cherish. I believe you are in heaven living it up in a serious mansion. As for me I will bless the Lord at all times. Psalm 34.1 (even when I don’t understand I will still bless God).’ The ex-minister wrote.
NPO Reported Niyi passed away earlier this month at the age of 62.
The husband of the former minister died on the 5th of August in Lagos.
His demise had attracted condolence messages from notable Nigerian dignitaries to Adeosun.
