Babafemi Ojudu, former Special Adviser on Political Matters to late ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, has lamented over the failure of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machine to capture his details at the ongoing 2026 Ekiti State Governorship Election.
Ojudu, in a post shared on his official Facebook page on Saturday, called out the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the development.
The former presidential aide claimed being the first voter to arrive at his polling units but spent almost 30 minutes before he could vote as the BVAS machine failed to capture his details.
Ojudu expressed concern over the development as he warned of possible disenfranchisement of voters if similar challenge persists in other polling units.
