President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday met with Nigerian former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo in Accra Ghana at the inauguration ceremony for the new President of Ghana, John Mahama.
Tinubu’s encounter with Obasanjo in Ghana came amidst festering criticisms of the Tinubu administration by the former Nigerian President.
NPO Reports that Obasanjo, just few days ago spoke over the newly revamped PortHarcourt and Warri Refineries which he had said would never work.
The two refineries have come on stream under the administration of Tinubu which is less than two years.
Tinubu has earned credit for the revamping of the refineries which had in the past gulped billions of Naira in turn-around maintenance and other activities.
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited had four days ago, asked Obasanjo to visit the refineries to confirm directly if they are working or not.
Obasanjo;s aide, Femi Akinyemi had said it was disrespectful of the NNPC to issue such invitation.
