*Says Nigerians Want My Father
Daughter of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Hauwa Atiku-Uwais, has said that it has been the lot of the family to contend with her father’s more than three decades of contesting for the presidency.
Hauwa, in an interview with Channels Television Tuesday morning, said Nigerians want her father.
Hauwa, who said she is an baker and employer of labour in Nigeria, said Nigerians stand to be better off if her father is elected in the next Saturday’s presidential election.
She said Atiku had, for a better Nigeria, made so many sacrifices during her ambition.
She said since he started his campaign to be president in 1988, he had had to step down for others just to have things better.
Speaking about the actions of five governors of the PDP opposed to her father, everyone under any party or group should be guided by the constitution of that group.
On the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Hauwa said Mr. Peter Obi is not a new fish in the water, adding that he had been in politics since 1999 as well and had on the same ticket with Atiku in 2019.
