Former Deputy Vice Chancellor, (Academic), at the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Prof. Pius Iribhogbe, is dead.
Prof Iribhogbe was a Consultant Trauma Surgeon. Head, Department of Surgery and Co-ordinator, School of Paramedics, University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).
The cause of his death is yet to be ascertained.
He passed on in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile as at the time of filing this report, the school is yet to make an official statement.
