Former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has made his first appearance at the All Progressives Congress (APC) meeting three months after resigning as the party’s National Chairman.
NPO Reported that Ganduje had on the 27th of June quit his position as the APC’s National leader over alleged health concern.
He was subsequently replaced by Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.
Meanwhile, the ex-Kano governor would assume office as the Board Chairman of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) barely a week after his resignation.
He had since kept low profile and distanced himself from political activities.
However, Ganduje made a return to the political arena as he joined other APC leaders in Kano State for stakeholders’ meeting.
As disclosed in a post shared on X, the Kano APC leaders had convened to strengthen the party’s position for the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Other notable figures present at the meeting include Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, Senator Kawu Sumaila, members of the House of Representatives, and both former and current political office holders.
