Scores of residents have watched a woman jumped off a flyover bridge in Asaba, Delta state killing herself in the process.
A video of the woman, not yet identified, has been trending.
The woman seen in the video, who may have been depressed, was seen first standing at the cliff of the bridge preparatory to her jumping head-down.
However, the video showed many people watching her for minutes with no signs of making any efforts to prevent her or reducing the impact of her fall.
After jumping down hitting her head on the ground, the scores of people were seen lamenting the action of the unidentified woman.
Her lifeless body was seen on the road as vehicles drove by with blooding all over her head and other parts of the body.
As at the time of filing this report, the Delta state police command was yet to make any official statement on the suicide.
