President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday met with security chiefs in the country to review the security situation across board.
The meeting had in attendance all heads of security agencies including the Directorate of Security Services, the Army, Air Force, Police, and others.
The meeting came amidst increased cases of killings and kidnapping in many parts of the North Central, North-West and many party of the South-East.
Although no statement was made by the chiefs at the end of the meeting, it was gathered that the President gave them new mandates over new challenges being noticed in the security coverage of the country.
