Popular actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has expressed surprise that another actress Eniola Badmus body-shamed her over her disappearing hair.
She said if at all anyone would pass comments shaming her it shouldn’t be someone whose stature was at a time subject of public ridicule.
Badmus, while commenting on one of Aiyeola’s videos, had dropped a comment saying “Opeyemi, where is your front hair?”
The actress has claimed being hurt by Badmus comment describing it to be in bad taste.
Badmus, until few years ago when she allegedly did body works, was a fat woman whose stature attracted lots of derisive comments.
Aiyeola stated that it should not be Badmus of all people to bodyshame any individual particularly since she has passed through same level of ridicule prior to her weight loss.
“You, eniola used to be an image of ridicule and body shaming on social media. To now think that you have experienced the hurt and pain of body shaming, could come under my video.
“You have never helped in promoting anything that has to do with me.
“You rarely even interact with anything that has to do with me and I’m not offended by it because I rarely do same with some of my other colleagues but for you, Eniola Badmus to come under my post and drop this comment.
“You are an animal. I knew before genuinely, I’m not ignorant of the fact that there are so many evil people out there but I did not expect someone of your caliber especially someone who has experienced the hurt of being body shamed. What exactly is funny? What exactly is that statement for?
“You see yourself in the mirror and all you see is beauty. You think a human being’s physical appearance is what beauty is all about, you are ignorant.
“Not only have you expressed your ignorance, you have expressed your who and what you stand for.
“I pity the people who have you around as their friend because you and I are not friends, we’ve not had anything to do or celebrate together.
“You have only shown the entire world what you are made of and for that I pity you. You don’t know what genuine love is all about.”
