Supporters of former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, have on Saturday stormed the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) National Convention.
The two-day convention which was held at the Lekan Salami stadium, Ibadan, saw party delegates and stakeholders trooped into the Oyo State capital.
Joining other members of the party in a rally at the venue, Jonathan supporters also took to the track with PDP flag and banners containing image of Jonathan and Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed.

This is coming amid speculations over Jonathan’s possible return to contest for the 2026 Presidential candidate.
While Jonathan was tipped for the PDP’s Presidential ticket, Bala was to serve as his running mate.
