Nigerian socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has accused his alleged Kenyan baby Mama, Hellen Mutimu, of plot to destroy his marriage.
Cubana Chief Priest stated this during an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Channels TV’s ‘Rubbin’ Minds’ programmed.
Mutimu had resurfaced amid the socialites recent clash with Nigeria musician, Damini Ogulu (Burna Boy).
The alleged baby Mama stirred up the controversy following report that she was hospitalised after ingesting a poisonous substance in an apparent suicide attempt.
Speaking on the alleged affair with Mutimu, Cubana denied knowing her while also claiming that the child does not belong to him.
While claiming that Mutimu’s frequent appearance is an alleged plot to destroy his marrage, the socialite recounted several attempts to invite the lady to Nigeria to prove her claim.
He accepted to conduct a DNA test and also expressed readiness to accept the child if it is his.
“It’s not a situation and the child can’t be my child. I don’t know her and I have never met her before.
“If you have a child for me, you cannot come out to associate with somebody who is fighting me. You cannot tell me you have a child for me and I said come to Nigeria but you said no. Your baby has not eaten, you have not paid for hospital bills, you borrowed money. I should send money to you for you people to eat that later you will now come.
“You know these guys got this girl a ticket to come to Nigeria. My brother, children are gifts from God regardless of how they come and I have more than enough to take care of my children- as many as possible that comes my way.
“Of course I will, but you cannot bash me this hard and still want loyalty from me. I have a beautiful marriage which is the best thing that has ever happened to me. And if you watch the whole attack, it is on the marriage and it cannot affect it.” Cubana Chief Priest said.
He, however, maintained that his wife shared an inseparable bond with him beyond being couples.
“You know me and my wife are beyond husband and wife. We are business partners. We are associates and inseparable. How we wan take start? How we wan begn dey share our things?” he said.
While reiteriating that Mutimu’s claim is not real, Cubana Chief Priest further disclosed how the whole saga began with a faceless blogger trying to blackmail him after telling him about the child in a phone call.
“It is funny sometimes but honestly I feel bad about it sometimes becaause it is not supposed to be. I’m a proper married man and I feel I owe my family a lot respect. But since everybody is watching everything the way it’s playing out, you will get to understand that this is not real.
“It’s been on for long time now. It’s something that I was first reached out to by a faceless blogger telling me to give him money and let him keep her for me.
“If you watch the pattern of the attack, it’s not like you are looking for the father of your child. Me I’m not looking for my child. If you say I’m the father of your child, you are supposed to be the one looking for me and you are not going to come to me with banter.” he said.
