Aisha Wahab, the lady abducted in Edo State, has regained her freedom.
This was confirmed by Human Rights Activist, Harrison Gwamnishu in a now trending video on X.
The clip showed Harrison and Aisha looking all happy with her mother also expressing her happiness and gratitude.
Recall that NPO reported that Aisha was kidnappped on the 12th of October at Igbira Camp in the Auchi area of Edo State.
NPO also recalls that her family was given an ultimatum by her abductors to pay the requested N20 million as they threatened to kill her.
In her first video recorded by her abductors and shared on X last week Saturday, the middle-aged lady pleaded with her family to pay the ransom.
In another of the videos, the visibly distressed woman cried out for assistance,
“Abeg make una help me… dem say 5 o’clock dem go kill me.”
In an instagram story post, Davido’s Logistics Manager, Israel DMW, confirmed that the 20 million Naira was paid completely and her family had confirmed her release to him.
“Aishatu has just been released by her captors, after paying the complete 20m.
“No kobo was deducted.
“The family has just confirmed her release to me.
“Pray not to ever be abducted, Amen.” He wrote.
