Former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has paid a visit to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, with the duo currently holding a closed-door meeting in Ibadan, the state’s capital.
Video shared on X on Wednesday showed moment the 2023 Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPC) arrived at the Oyo State Government House in Agodi.
Kwankwaso and his entourage were received by Makinde who exchanged pleasantries with all the visitors before the commencement of the meeting.
The motive behind the meeting could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
However, the meeting is suspected to be another consultation and possible coalition agreement between the duo ahead of the 2027 Presidential election.
NPO Reported that Makinde has strongly being tipped to contest for the election under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
