Lagos state government has, earlier today, demolished an identified shrine built along Mosalashi Bus stop area, Iyana Ipaja.
The demolition exercise was carried out by officials from the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK) and Lagos Environmental Sanitation Corps.
Ina video of the demolition shared on X by Lagos Commissioner for Environment, Tokunbo Wahab, the shrine was brought down to rubbles by officers of the both agencies.
Recounting several warning attempts issued to the owner of the shrine, Wahab warned against environmental nuisance in the state.

earlier today removed the Shrine constructed close to a main road at Moshalasi Bus Stop, Ile Epo in Iyana Ipaja.
“The Lagos State government is again warning everyone to desist from constituting any form of environmental nuisance on the State parks and gardens as this will be met with prosecution.” He wrote.
