Operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), have on Tuesday sealed off several establishments across the Lagos Mainland over persistent environmental violations, particularly noise pollution.
This was contained in an X post by the Lagos State Commissioner, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab.
The agency’s team visited multiple areas including Aguda, Surulere, LASU-Iba Road, Ilogbo Road, Jakande, Ajangbadi, Ojo, Okokomaiko, and Agric Bus Stop, where it sealed off facilities flouting environmental standards.
Among those shut down were facilities including Admax Lounge, Food Affairs, Hotel De Bravo, JC Wellington Hotel & Suites, Niger Villa.
Others include; Another Level Hotel, The Levite Assembly, Lutana Lounge & Suites, and Kelwinson Hotel, Casco Gas Plant, Nayon Superstores
