Amidst outcries over the Christmas day killing of a Lagos based lawyer, Mrs. Bolanle Raheem, the allegation has been made that her killing would be the second killing under two weeks by men from the same Ajiwe Police Division in the Lekki area of the state.
An officer had killed Raheem on Sunday in Lagos sparking outrage in the process. The command of the police in the state assured that justice would be done to the matter.
“It is from this same division an Officer killed Gafaru Buraimoh about 2 weeks ago.
This barbarism by the Nigerian Police must come to an end.
These Murderers must pay for their crimes!!!” Said Mr. Macaroni
Buraimoh was said to have been hit by a stray bullet which was fired by an officer attached to the same Ajiwe station.
However trouble started when the police officers attempted to impound a black marketer’s fuel, but he refused.
His resistance angered the officers who started shooting sporadically.

According to the deceased brother, Muyideen, who spoke to Vanguard, the incident happened yesterday by 10:00 pm.
“The police wanted to arrest those that are selling black markets and they started shooting because they refuse to allow them impound their fuel.
Unfortunately, Buraimoh was coming out of SkyMall when he was mistakenly hit by a stray bullet.”
