Manchester United has earned new manager, Reuben Amorim, his first Premier League win after cruising past Everton in 4-0 victory.
Coming off 3-2 Europa League win last week, the Red Devils hosted Everton at the Old Trafford on Sunday for another Premier League showdown.
Man United picked off from where they left against Bodø/Glimt as they charged for a first PL win under the Portuguese gaffer.
Marcus Rashford put United on the lead in the 34th minute after latching home a cross from Portuguese midfielder, Bruno Fernandes.
Dominated the first half with 63 percent ball possession, Manchester United would double the lead courtesy Joshua Zirkzee’s 41st minute goal before the halftime whistle.
Manchester United picked off from where they left at halftime as revived Rashford scored a brace courtesy Amad Diallo’s assist in the 46th minute to put the game 3-0.
Diallo would again created another goal scoring opportunity for Manchester United in 64th minute which was neatly converted by Netherland striker, Joshua Zirkzee, gifting him a brace as well.
With no other goal from both sides, the game ended in 4-0 win for Manchester United as they continue life under Reuben Amorim.
Meanwhile, the win saw the Red Devils leapfrog into 9th position on the Premier League table with 19 points.
