Nollywood actress’, Jumoke George, missing daughter, simply identified as Adeola, has been found stranded in Mali.
NPO Reported that George had earlier narrated her ordeal to fellow Nollywood actress Abiola Adebayo.
The veteran actress had, in a video shared on social media on Tuesday, recounted to Adebayo how she had homeless for the past six years.
Found in a white garment church, a visibly downtrodden George cried for help as she disclosed that her 41-year-old daughter has been missing for the past four years while also seeking financial aid for health condition.
In a latest development, the missing lady was tracked by a phone call where she confirmed that she is stranded in Mali.
As captured in a video shared on X on Thursday, the Nollywood actress’ daughter disclosed in the conversation with Adebayo that she is trapped in Mali as she has no valid papers to return home.
In the telephone conversation held in Yoruba, Adeola disclosed recently escaping death from a face-off between Boko Haram and Malian military at the area where she currently stays.
On why she never contacted her mother for past four years, Adeola claimed she does not have mobile Sim card she can contact her with.
She, however urged Adebayo not to disclose her whereabout to her mother as she ruled out the chance of leaving Mali on account of her missing papers.
“I didn’t have a sum card to contact her. The sim card I would have used is lost because a war broke out where I am. There was a face-off between the army and Boko Haram at the area I’m staying. It’s God that saved me because several people were killed in the attack.
“I’m facing a lot here. The prayer I’m praying is not to come home empty handed. I’m stranded here already and I don’t know how to come home. And the second one is me getting home alive.
“I don’t have passport I can use to leave. There is no way I want to move without getting arrested.
“I don’t want to know what’s happening to me for now because she will just keep crying.” She said.
