The mother of late Nigerian afrobeat rapper and singer, Promise Oladimeji Aloba popularly called Mohbad, has opened up over her son’s death.
His mother in a recent video which surfaced on the internet debunked rumors that she’s dead and that she is the mother of Mohbad.
She bitterly lamented and stated that since the moment Naira Marley came into their lives, her son’s lives has not been the same.
“I am the mother of Mohbad, Promise Oladimeji Emmanuel Ayobami. I am not dead, I am alive.”
“All what is happening, I do not know but I know that whoever killed my child, his house will be hot. So shall it be for whoever killed my son and their children.”
“What do I want to say about my child? But I know that since the time of Naira Marley, my child has not known peace, my child’s mind has not been at rest.
“All the time they cooked up different lies against him, I could not speak because I wasn’t allowed to, I asked my child what happened.
“I called my son in the morning and he sent me money to go to the hospital and that was where I called him that he told me something is going on, when they eventually took him when everything happened, he wasn’t there he was in the studio but when he knew something was going on he came running asking what exactly was going on?
“He said he just heard something happened and that’s why he decided to come and they took them away but since the water they gave him, he didn’t know what became wrong with him again. He couldn’t sleep.
“Every day was a day of fear for him, he could not perform at some shows sometimes whenever he hears Naira Marley will be there too.
“Before his death, I spent 10 days in my son’s house till Saturday until I heard about my son’s death on Monday, I just spoke with his wife shortly an hour before I got the call.
“Please come to my aid all Nigerians and mothers, my son didn’t run mad, help me. Those that accused him of being mad should bring the test result.
“Since he knew Naira Marley, he has not known peace. All what they have been saying is false, please help me”
