President Bola Tinubu has accused opposition political leaders of politicising the insecurity situation in the country to get him out of power.
Tinubu attributed his ability resist their pressure to his doggedness as he reaffirmed his commitment to his re-election bid.
The President made this known while addressing a delegate from Plateau state led by the Governor Caleb Muftwang.
NPO earlier Reported that Muftwang had led the delegate to the Presidential Villa on Wednesday.
Speaking after being briefed about the security status of the state, Tinubu charged the Plateau governor to be wary of oppositions politicising the insecurity in the state as smear campaign against him.
“You are playing into the hands of agents, including my own enemies who want to use insecurity to get rid of me.” He said.
The President thereafter claimed being a stubborn politician as he pledged to continue his campaign for a second term.
“I’m a very stubborn politician. I just refuse to go and I will campaign for my second term. I will work hard for it.” He added.
