Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has named Imam Abdulazeez Onike, Chief Missioner of NASFAT; Pastor Godman Akinlabi, Senior Pastor of Elevation Church; Hon Seyi Sowunmi, Labour Party Reps member; Mrs Joe Okei-Odumakin; Hon Kolade Alabi; Barrister Taofeeq Ganiu (Former Peoples Democratic Party Pub Secretary) as Members of Lagos State Special Dispensation ‘Paliative’ Advisory
Committee.
Others are; Dr. Shina Fagbenro-Byron (LP Member, Former DFID official); Hon. Ademola Shabi (Rep, LAHA); Comrade Biliaminu Oba (Youth Representative); Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of LG (Secretary of the committee); Eze Anaba, President, Nigerian Guild of Editors; and Mrs. Sola Salako-Ajulo (Consumer Rights Advocate).
Governor Sanwo-Olu made this disclosure on his official X handle, he said, “I am pleased to announce the inauguration of the Lagos State Special Dispensation ‘Palliative’ Advisory Committee, responsible for our welfare packages, dual-win feeding strategy, amongst other direct intervention initiatives.
“These individuals bring diverse expertise, and their work will be guided by the principles of empathy and dignity as we strive to make a significant impact in serving our people.”
Sanwo-Olu assured that the Committee shall be dedicated to transparency and merit.
Recall that Sanwo-Olu had on last Thursday unveiled a comprehensive package of policy measures to cushion the pervasive economic challenges and rising inflation resulting in high cost of living, and increase in food and commodity costs.
