The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has uncovered and dismantled a network of caves and tunnels used for illicit drugs trade in Kano state.
NDLEA operatives attached to the Kano Command discovered the hideouts in Rimin Kebe area of the state during a raid tagged Operation Sharar Mafaka.
This was made known in a post shared on X on Friday by the NDLEA’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi.
According to Babafemi, the operatives recorded arrest of 19 suspects with several illicit drugs recovered in the cause of the raid.
Videos and pictures attached to the past showed NDLEA officials destorying some of the items found in the caves and tunnel.

Babafemi hailed the operatives over the discovery of the hideouts and the arrests recorded.
