Cross-dresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, was on Friday sentenced to six months in prison without an option of fine.
Delivering the judgement on Friday, Justice Abimbola Awogboro said the decision of the court is to sound note of warning to other abusers of the Nigerian currency to stop. Bobrisky was arrested two weeks ago after she was accused of spraying and tramping on the naira.
The allegation came amidst other controversies after she was awarded the best dressed female at the premier of a movie in Lagos.
