President Bola Tinubu has blamed organizers of charities, holding them accountable for the tragic stampedes.
He stated this at the Media chat session on Monday night.
In his remarks, the President expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased victims of the stamepedes.
He noted that he has also been giving out relief items in his residence at Bourdillon.
However, he noted that if organizers do not have enough to give to the masses, they shouldn’t publicize it.
“Condolences to those who lost a family member, but it is good to give.
“It is good to give, I have been giving out foodstuffs, commodities including envelopes for the last 25 years.
“I have never experienced this kind of incident because we are organised, disciplined. And if you know you don’t have enough to give, don’t attempt to even publicize it
“If you don’t have enough to give, don’t attempt or publicize it”
