Nigerian singer, Tiwatope Savage, popularly known Tiwa Savage, has stunned the audience at the concert organised to spice up the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camila on Saturday.
The concert, held at the Windsor Castle, saw the King and the Queen being marvelled at the performance of the Nigerian act who stood there resplendent in a green attire that sent the audience into frenzy.
Tiwa Savage’s crew had the beautiful blend of Nigeria’s traditional musical instruments with those of the modern percurssion instruments all synchronised into a beautiful performance on Sunday.
According to Wikipedia, Tiwa was born in Isale Eko, relocating to Londonat the age of 11 for her secondary education. Five years later, she began her music career doing backup vocals for artists such asGeorge MichaelandMary J. Blige. After participating in theUK editionofThe X Factorand graduating fromBerklee College of Music, Savage signed a publishing deal withSony/ATV Music Publishing in 2009.
At end of her performance, the King and the Queen were seen in what looked like a conversation over the performance even as the audience rose in deafening applause for the show.
