Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola, has alongside other big names in the Nigerian movie industry converged at Ilaro in Ogun state for the eighth day Firdaus prayer for late veteran actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
Odunlade who was absent at the funeral of the later actor joined other senior colleagues such as Yinka Quadri, Dele Odule, and Bolaji Amusan (Mr. Latin) at the 8th day prayer held on Monday.
NPO Reported that Ogogo had last week Sunday passed away after prolonged battle with Stage Four cancer.
The deceased actor was buried the following day in accordance with Islamic rite.
His funeral was attended by several actors who had earlier paid tribute to him.
With today marking the 8th day after his burial, the Nollywood bigwigs had again stormed Ilaro town, joining the family of friends of Ogogo for the Firdaus prayer.
Also in attendance at the prayer was Wale Akorede, popularly known as Okunnu, and content creator, Adebayp Ridwan, popularly known as IsBae U.
The funeral also had in attendance the daughter of the late actor, Kira Taiwo, who announced her father’s critical health condition few days before his death.
