Two robbery gang members who have operated in the Abuja environs have confessed to the police how they had carried out their criminal operations in the last 22 years. Chukwudi Nbachukwu 47 and Chukwuma Okeke, 41, were arrested by Force Intelligence operatives. In their confessions, they revealed their various modes of operations.
The police wrote on the duo, “Chukwudi Nbachukwu, a 47-year-old native of Enugu residing in Madala, Niger State, and Chukwuma Okeke, a 41-year-old native of Ebonyi State living in Abuja, have been apprehended by operatives of the Force Intelligence Department – Intelligence Response Team (FID-IRT).
“Chukwudi, a radio mechanic by training but involved in “one chance” robbery operations for over two decades, detailed how he has been arrested multiple times, charged to court, and managed to escape trial. He also demonstrated the methods used to dispossess their victims of valuables.”
