There is outrage online after the video of a grown up man and political commentator was seen being whipped after he was handcuffed by unidentified people.
The man identified as Alhaji Dan Bilki Komada was seen in the video being whipped severally by men who were not visible in the same clip.
NPO Reports learnt that the man who is an indigene of Kano had criticized the Kaduna State Governor Uba Sanni.
Komanda was seen being being tormented while his tormentors kept asking if he is from Kaduna state to warrant his criticism of the state Governor.
At some point he was forced to go on his knees while the whipping continued even as the man begged them to let him be.
The video has caused anger online as many have called on Gov Sani to investigate the matter.
many have demanded the Governor speaks over the matter whether the humiliation on Komada was on his instructions or not.
An C user JayB with the handle @jibrilkhaleel wrote “The justice meted at Dan Bilki commander is uncalled for, & shouldn’t be a norm in a democratic setting. No one deserves to be treated in such fashion. But one thing Is certain, HE @ubasanius or any of his associates will never order this.”
Another commentator Danboom Danbazau with the handle @Musasigww wrote, “We strongly condemn the brutal treatment of Dan Bilki Kwamanda. It’s unacceptable that he was handcuffed and beaten, especially after mentioning his health conditions as a diabetic and hypertensive patient. @PoliceNG should act swiftly and protect him. Gov @ubasanius address this.”
