The Governor of Ekiti, Biodun Oyebanji, has approved the appointment of ten new permanent secretaries to strengthen the state civil service and reposition it for efficient service delivery.
This is contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Yinka Oyebode on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti.
The statement said the appointment of the permanent secretaries followed their success in the highly competitive examination and selection process.
The newly appointed permanent secretaries are: Engr. Samuel Ibijola, Mr Olaonipekun Eweje, Dr Sunday Omoya, Mr Morakinyo Akilo, Mr Adelusi Lateef, Pharm. Ejimokun Peter, Mr Olufemi Adediran, Mr Ayoola Clement, Mr Bayode Lawrence and Engr. Toyin Ojelabi-Pedro.
According to the statement, the swearing-in of the newly appointed permanent secretaries is slated for Thursday, Nov. 6, in Ado-Ekiti.
