He alleged that it was used in blackmailing former President Goodluck Jonathan.
“When Jonathan was to leave office, the same way he was blackmailed with insecurity, the same way they went to America and made Obama to carry the placard of Chibok girls.” He said.
Fayose said there are tendencies same tactics was allegedly deployed by the Oyo State Government to blackmail Tinubu and his re-election bid.
He noted that the abduction occurred during the same period the Oyo governor, Seyi Makinde, was nominated for presidential election.
“I want to say to you that in Oyo state, I have strong belief- I may be wrong- that this sometimes can be orchestrated.
“The governor of Oyo state had his nomination as presidential candidate in the face of this abduction. He was after those nomination.
“I can sometimes belief that this may be orchestrated in a way- I’m not saying totally, by the government of Oyo State to blackmail President Bola Tinubu.” He said.
