The Oyo State Police Command has paraded a suspect arrested with fake Dollars and Euros bills Worth N24.9 million.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on the Command’s official X handle on Friday.
According to the statement, the suspect was nab Ed with 140 fake $100 bills estimated to cost N20.9 million.
Also found in the suspect’s possession was 41 counterfeit £50 notes worth N4 million.
The suspect was paraded before newsmen by the Command.
“The Oyo Police Command parades suspect with counterfeit currency, including 140 fake $100 bills totaling approximately ₦20,930,000 and 41 counterfeit £50 notes amounting to about ₦4,011,850.” The Command wrote while promising to make more details of the arrest available shortly.
