Residents of Ogbomoso have again been gripped by panic as students fled from schools amid fear of fresh terrorists’ invasion of town.
The development is coming few days after the raid and abduction of about 39 students and seven teachers at Community High School in Ahoro-Esinele, Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo state.
NPO Reported that suspected bandits had on Friday stormed the school killing a teacher and motorcyclist before carrying out the mass abduction.
They also advanced to Yawota Baptist Nursery and Primary school, abducting pupils and their teachers.
With the abducted students and teachers still held in captivity, the fear of the incident still lingered across the community.
This would manifest on Monday when a rumoured invasion by suspected gunmen saw several students fleeing from their schools.
