Delta State Police Command has invited anti-brutality campaigner, Harrison Gwamishu, over alleged murder and conspiracy.
Gwamishu disclosed being summoned by the police in apost shared on his X handle on Tuesaday.
Attached to the post was the letter of summon addressed to the activist.
The police also invited for incitement to engage in terrorism, communal war and obstruction.
Harrison stated that when he received the letter he was just getting back from the court for Oghenemine’s case.
“I returned from court for Oghenemine’s case and the Nigeria Police Delta State Command sent me Happy New Letter.”
He stated that the state police command has nothing on him and have been planning against him.
“I wish to inform everyone that Delta State Police Command have nothing on me, and they have been planning massively against me.” the activist said.
As seen in the letter attached to the post, the police directed Gwamishu to appear before the Delta Deputy Commissioner of Police at the Criminal Investigation Department on Thursday.
“This office is investigating the above-mentioned case.
“In view thereof, you are invited to have an interface with the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, Asaba through the O/C Homicide, State CID,
“Asaba on Thursday 4th June, 2026 by 1000hrs.
“Accept the warm regard of the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Police Command, Asaba, please.” The letter read.
