Four persons including a woman and her two children have been killed in Lagos on Tuesday after a car rammed into a tricycle in which they were being transported.
Also killed was the driver of the tricycle popularly called Keke Napep.
An official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency was reportedly chasing a car driver who then ran into the tricycle.
The incident had triggered a protest as angry residents in the area made bornfires and made to also lynch the LASTMA official.
He was however saved by the timely arrival of policemen who shot tear gas to disperse the angry protesters.
