Some residents of Shagamu area of Ogun State have reportedly embarked on a protest over the naira scarcity
According to video which surfaced on social media on Monday morning, two banks (Keystone and Union Banks) were already set on fire during the course of the protest.
In the video many residents watching as Keystone and Union banks were set ablaze with some youths holding planks in protest.
This is coming barely 72 hours after Mowe-Ibafo area of Ogun State was locked down with many residents blocking the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in protest of the hardship caused by the lingering scarcity of the naira.
