Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has expressed her displeasure with the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protest, stressing that Nigeria cannot be changed in a day.
As seen in a viral video on X, the actress and wife of Nigerian lawmaker, Ned Nwoko, fumed over the protest which had turned out to mayhem in some parts of the country.
Responding to those who criticized her initial call for peace, the elated Regina showed video clip of protesters hoisting Russian flag as she questioned her critiques as to if that was their desire for the nation.
“You see what is happening North? Hoisiting the Russian flag, is that what we want? Mind you, whatever happens in the North can get to you.
“I preached against violence and ignorant Nigerians said it’s because I’m privileged and opportuned.” she said
While admitting to the fact that she is privileged, Regina acknowledged the economic hardship in the country but clamed the problem cannot be solved in a day.
“Yes. The fact remains that I am privileged and opportuned. But that doesn’t stop me from understanding that my nannies need to be paid extra or stop me from understanding that my gateman or my cooks need to be well catered for because of inecurity and extra bills to be paid in Nigeria.
“The point remains that Nigeria cannot be changed in a day and not by one man.
“The earlier we all realise that this protest is turning to something else, the better for us all.” She added.
