The TikTok account of Nigerian content creator and livestreamer, Oderhowho Efe, popularly known as Carter Efe, has been permanently banned after reaching 5.6 million followers.
Carter Efe’s account was reportedly banned over multiple violations.
The development was disclosed in series of posts shared on X on Wednesday.
Attached to the post was a screenshot of the content creator’s TikTok profile page which contained the inscription announcing the permanent ban.
‘Your account was permanently banned. Your account was permanently banned because of multiple policy violations.’ The inscription read.
The ban of Carter Efe’s account had triggered reactions from his fans and other netizens who slammed TikTok over the decision.
Some however trolled the content creator, alleging that his account was reported by fans of Nigerian afrobeat singer, Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid.
This was on account of Carter Efe’s previous clash with Wizkid fans.
