Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is set to host the 18th annual Lagos State Town Hall meeting on security.
This was contained in a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso on Wednesday.
The meeting themed, “Data & Technology Driven Security: The Way Forward” is a major summit for stakeholders in the sector
It is slated to hold at Lagos House Ikeja on the 18th of December, 2024.
Guests are expected to be seated by 12 Noon.
On the agenda is the presentation of patrol vehicles and other equipment to security operatives.
The Lagos State Security Trust Fund Executive Secretary, Rasaq Balogun will render an account of his stewardship at the event.
Other security chiefs will also speak at the meeting.
The Security Trust Fund was established in 2007 to combat violent crimes, especially bank robberies.
The trust fund recorded zero incident of bank robbery in the State in the last five years.
