The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu, on Monday, vented his frustration on one of his legal counsels for interrupting him while speaking during his trial at the Federal High Court, Abuja.
Kanu, who had flared up following Justice Binta Nyako’s indefinite adjournment of the trial, shunned the counsel for disrupting his address with newsmen.
The embattled IPOB leader was accusing the court of turning his case to a terrorism case when the unidentified counsel cuts in.
“I agitate for Biafra. I agitate for Biafra, my right to agitate. They turned my case from treasonable felony to terrorism… Stop talking when I’m talking.” He said.
NPO earlier reported Kanu’s accusation of Justice Binta Nyako for corruption.
He alleged that Nyako was deliberately sent to his case to convict him in an effort to Free her son and husband who he alleged are currently facing corruption charges.
Binta Nyako is using her position for personal gain. Her son and husband are facing corruption charges and they told them that if they convict me..
“They sent her to my case so they can release or smoothen the pathway for her son and husband.” Kanu said.
