Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, has joined French side, Paris Saint-Germain, on a two-year deal after leaving Atletico Madrid.
The 2024 Women African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) winner departed from the Spanish Primera Division de la Liga de Futbol Femenino after lengthy spell to join PSG.
While her transfer fee was undisclosed, PSG on their official X handle announced the arrival of Ajibade who joined the club in a deal that runs until 30th of June 2027.
“Rasheedat Ajibade signs for Paris Saint-Germain until 2027.
“Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the arrival of Nigerian striker who has joined the club on a deal that runs until 30th June 2027” the statement read.
Ajibade was unveiled with a jersey bearing her name and her contract period.
She was reportedly taken around the club training complex by fellow Super Falcons teammate, Jennier Echegini, who also plays for PSG.
