Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has again come under public spotlight with her found faith as she was captured performing deliverance on a female student.
Dikeh had on Friday joined other members of her church for an evangelical outreach at an undisclosed school.
The actress would spot a student believed to be under the influence of a marine spirit and the spirit of death.
She would then initiate a deliverance session for the young girl with a now viral video showing her holding the girl’s head with both hands while other members of the team pinned her down to the floor with both hands and legs held as she shuddered under the perceived anointing of the actress.
The actress in the caption attached to the clip shared on her Instagram handle on Friday recounted how the girl, who gave her life to Christ during the outreach, ran up to her, confessing that she sees bats appearing around her repeatedly.
This led to the deliverance session
“Today, God allowed me to see a glimpse of the ministry He has placed upon my life. I was delivered from the marine world so that I may become an instrument in His hands to deliver others.
“As we were driving out after our evangelism at the school today, I suddenly sensed a spirit of death hovering around the environment.
“I immediately shared this with my team and we began to pray. In less than two minutes, a young girl ran up to me and asked that I pray for her.
“Her friends encouraged her to speak, and she shared that she had been seeing bats appearing around her repeatedly.” Tonto Dikeh wrote.
This, according to the actress, led to the deliverance session.
“We began to pray, and the Holy Spirit took over. The presence and glory of God filled that moment. The spirit of death was confronted, the demonic attack was broken, and God’s power brought deliverance.
“To the glory of God, she was also one of the students who gave her life to Christ earlier, which made the work of God even more powerful and timely. My team and I will be following up with her as the Lord continues His work in her life.” She added.
Dikeh expressed his gratitude to her spiritual father, Pastor Jerry Eze, and his wife for their impact on her spiritual growth as she announced that over 100 students gave their lives to Christ during the outreach which she vowed to continue.
Meanwhile, the clips of the deliverance session had sent tongue waggling and wrists scribbling as netizens expressed mixed reactions over the incident.
While some expressed shock and disbelief, others faulted the actress’ conduct of the deliverance on the girl, accusing her of using the students to create content.
