Governor of Delta state, Sheriff Oborevwori, Monday afternoon visited the Okuoma community where soldiers were killed at the weekend.
The governor’s visit was to assess the situation of things especially after the reprisal which had led to burning of some houses and demolition of many others.
President Bola Tinubu had on Sunday given the Chief of Defence Staff the go-ahead to fish out the killers at all cost.
As at the time of filing this report, no statement had been made as the governor went into the a meeting the leader of the Joint Military Task Force General Officer Commanding 6 Division Nigeria Army, Major General Jamaal Abdulsalam.
However, many journalists complained of not being allowed access into some parts of the community as a military vehicle was stationed in the entrance to prevent all manners of vehicular activities. More details later…
