At least three people have been confirmed dead in Kano building collapse on Thursday.
This was disclosed in a post on X by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
The incidented reportedly occured around 2am at Sabon Gari area of Fagge Local Government where a two-story building came down crashing, leaving six people trapped in the rubbles.
NEMA had engaged swift rescue operation which saw two individuals rescued alive while three others were confirmed dead.
The post read; “A tragic incident occurred at around 2:00 am , involving the collapse of a two-story building in Nomans-land, Sabon Gari, Fagge LGA, Kano State.
“Six people were trapped in the building. So far, two individuals have been rescued alive, while three others have been confirmed dead.
“Search and rescue operations are still ongoing with the involvement of relevant stakeholders.”
