President Bola Tinubu on Thursday inaugurated the 37-kilometer Redline rail transport network amidst jubilant crowd of residents in Lagos.
Tinubu had arrived at the venue of the inauguration at about 12 noon to kickstart the use of the rail line to which Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said will change the transport game in the state.
The intra-city rail network will take passengers from Marina in Lagos and end at Agbado area of the state.
The commissioning on Thursday had attracted a huge crowd as top government officials accompanied Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu to the event.
The government had earlier launched the Red Line which takes passengers from Marina to Mile 2 and Festac axis of the state.
Users attest that the train has reduced their transportation time and cost drastically.
